 jvaala mein jo jeete hain, vo amar ho jaate hain. ye pankti philm mein desh ke un phaayar phaitars ko samarpit hai, jo aag lagane par apanee jaan kee baajee lagaakar logon ko bachaate hain, magar kya vaakee ek phaayar phaitar jab doosaron ko bachaane ke lie khud ko aag mein jhonk deta hai, to amar ho jaata hai? kya vaakee unake balidaan ko yaad rakha jaata hai? apanee nijee jindagee aur kaamakaajee jeevan mein ye phaayar phaitars kin chunautiyon, dukh aur dard se gujarate hain, isakee anakahee kahaanee aur anasang heeroj kee daastaan lekar aae hain lekhak-nirdeshak raahul dholakiya. philm dekhane ke baad mahasoos hota hai ki ham aaj tak inake kaam aur kurbaaniyon ke prati udaaseen kyon rah gae?

kahaanee kee shuruaat hotee hai vitthal raav (prateek gaandhee) se, jo phaayar steshan ka hed hai. parivaar mein usaka beta aur patnee rukminee surve (saee taamhanakar) hai. shahar mein aag lagane par vitthal raav apane praanon kee paravaah kie bagair logon ko bachaata hai. vibhaag mein bhale cheeph ke roop mein vah heero hai, magar usake bete aur aam logon kee nigaah mein usaka pulis aphasar saala samit saavant (divyendu sharma) asalee naayak hai. vitthal aur samit kee aapas mein bilkul nahin banatee. vitthal ka maanana hai ki aise haadason mein pulis se pahale phaayar phaitars pahunchate hain, magar unake kaam ko anadekha kar diya jaata hai aur saaree vaahavaahee pulis le jaatee hai.


phaayar steshan mein vitthal kee teem mein avanee (saiyamee kher) jaise jaambaaj phaayar phaitars bhee hain, jo apane kaam ke prati pooree tarah se kartavyanishth hain. isee beech shahar mein achaanak kaee jagahon par aag lagane ke haadason ka silasila shuroo hota hai. in aagajanee ke haadason kee investigeshan mein vitthal kee teem ke saath-saath samit kee teem bhee kaam karatee hai. vitthal kee teem ko in haadason ke peechhe ek bahut bade shadyantr kee ka suraag milata hai, magar tab tak samit kathit aparaadhee ko pakad kar ek baar phir heero ban jaata hai.


aparaadhee ke pakade jaane ke baad ek aur aag lagane ka bhayaanak haadasa hota hai. usamen avanee ke mangetar kee jaan chalee jaatee hai, jo khud ek phaayar phaitar tha aur us aagajanee mein logon ko bachaane aaya tha. tabhee vitthal ke haath aag lagane kee ghatanaon se jude kuchh aise saboot milate hain, jo usake hosh uda dete hain. ab aage aag lagane ka ek bheeshan haadasa hone vaala hai, jisamen vitthal aur samit ke parivaar samet kaee raajaneta aur shahar kee ganamaany hastiyaan maujood hain. kya vitthal unhen bacha paega? kya vah asalee mujarim ka chehara phaash kar paega? is baar heero kaun saabit hoga? samit ya vitthal? jaanane ke lie aapako philm dekhanee hogee.

raahul ye darshaane mein kaamayaab rahate hain ki oonche pad par aaseen logon kee udaaseenata aur aam logon kee anabhigyata ke baavajood ye agnishaman dal apane pharj mein koee kamee nahin aane deta. philm kee shuruaat mein aag lagane ka bhayaanak drshy philm ke maahaul ko set kar deta hai aur paatr sthaapit ho jaate hain, magar raahul kee philm mein kahaanee aur skreenaple thoda kamajor pad jaata hai, jisake kaaran thrilar asar nahin jama paata.


aag lagane ke tamaam drshyon mein behatareen veeepheks ka istemaal kiya gaya hai, jo prashansaneey hai. philm ka imoshanal aark bhee kaaphee majaboot hain, magar philm beech-beech mein apanee taaratamyata khotee najar aatee hai. isake baavajood raahul, gumanaam agnishaamakon kee kahaanee ko darshakon tak pahunchaane mein kaamayaab rahate hain. ke yoo menan kee photograaphee kamaal kee hai, unhonne darshaaya hai ki mumbee jaise ovarakrauded shahar mein kaee baar agnishaman dal apane kaam ko anjaam nahin de paate.


kariyar ke shuruaatee daur se hee prateek gaandhee ne ek adaakaar ke roop mein khud ko saamarthyavaan saabit kiya hai. yahaan bhee vitthal raav ke roop mein unaka aatanrik aur baaharee dvandv shaanadaar dhang se ujaagar hota hai. ve apane kiradaar kee raushanee se philm ko baandhe rakhate hain. shaatir pulis aphasar ke kiradaar mein divyendu bharapoor manoranjan karate hain, magar unake charitr ko aur jyaada vikasit kiya jaana chaahie tha.


bahaadur phaayar phaitar avanee ke roop mein saiyamee kher jaanadaar lagee hain. prashaasan kee udaaseenata aur karapshan par savaal uthaane vaala unaka kiradaar ek naya pahaloo lekar aata hai. rukminee surve kee bhoomika mein saee ne apanee sahajata se dil jeeta hai. beparavaah raajaneta ke rol mein anant jog yaad rah jaate hain. prateek gaandhee ke bete amya bane baal kalaakaar ne majedaar abhinay kiya hai. sahayogee kaast bhee achchhee hai
